Racing with friends, kept safe.

Joseph’s Escape lets you add friends and race them live. The only thing another player can show you is a display name and a race invitation. There is no chat, no photos and no free text.

This page says what we screen, how you report or block someone, and what we do about it. Last updated 24 September 2026.

The rules

Choose a display name you would be happy to show a child.
No profanity, slurs, sexual content, threats, or names that impersonate someone else, including public figures and Bible Run staff.
Invite people to race because they want to race. Repeated unwanted invitations count as harassment.
Do not try to get around a block or a name that was removed.

Names are screened before they are saved

Every display name goes through an automated content check, in English and Spanish, before it is stored. If the check cannot run, the name is not saved. A name that passes the check can still be reported and reviewed by a person.

How to report someone

A race invitation: in Friends, open the Invites tab, press and hold the invitation, and choose Report.
Anything else: email support@betaboxlabs.dev with the player’s display name and what happened, or use the form on our support page. English or Spanish, either is fine.

Reports are anonymous. The person you report is not told who reported them.

How to block someone

In Friends, open the player’s row and choose Block. A blocked player can no longer send you friend requests or race invitations, and they are not told they were blocked. You can review and undo blocks any time under Settings, Friends, Manage Blocked.

Blocking is immediate and does not need a review.

What we do with a report

A person on the Bible Run team reviews every report within 24 hours of receiving it, seven days a week, in English and Spanish.
Depending on what we find we remove the display name, cancel the player’s open invitations, restrict the account from adding friends and racing, or delete the account for repeated or severe abuse.
We keep the report record for as long as needed to act on it and to spot repeat behaviour, and delete it when the accounts involved are deleted.
